Karachi: 1st All Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Kickboxing Championship2019- 2020 has been won by Baluchistan team. Event was held in Sindh Sports Board Complex located at Nazimabad.
The team has bagged 4 Gold Medals and 5 Silver medals. Sindh 2 Gold Medals and 3 Silver Medals, 2 Bronze Medals ranked on no.2, The Hexis College 1Gold Medal 1 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals ranked as third and KPK remained on 4th position with 1 Gold Medal, 3 Bronze Medals, Weight category 71kg, 68kg,67kg,63,5kg,50kg,57kg,54kg and 51 kg, 48kg, 9.44kg.
In the event Balochistan, Punjab, Sindh, KPK, Islamabad, Fata, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit, Baltistan and Hexis College took part in the event. The Opening Ceremony Chief guest was the Secretary Sports & Youth Affairs Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah and the Chief guest for the closing ceremony was Dr.Shakir Qayyum Khan Zada.
On the occasion Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah said that for a healthy society sports activities are necessary. Dr Shakir Qayyum Khan Zada said that he will continue his fullest co-operation and support for the promotion of Games. The Chief Organizer & Secretary General Pakistan Kickboxing Federation Muhammad Ashfaq said that competition among athletes is very important for the enhancement of games and it helps a lot to the athletes to move forward.
The Associate Secretary Kaneez Sakina and Co-organizer Muhammad Kaleem was also present.
