Assad Mehmood returns to the country after conquering Mount Everest

Karachi: Assad Ali Mehmood, the young mountaineer who conquered the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, has returned to the homeland.

Despite adverse weather conditions and unfavorable circumstances, Assad Ali managed to reach the summit at an elevation of 8,848 meters. However, during the descent, between Camp 4 and Camp 3, he slipped on the snow and broke a bone in his hand.

Assad Ali Mehmood experienced knee injuries and severe slips during the climb. He is a student at a private university and is the eighth Pakistani and the first mountaineer from Sindh to conquer Mount Everest.

Upon reaching Karachi, Assad Ali Mehmood expressed his extreme happiness about this achievement and thanked all the stakeholders who supported him.

It should be noted that Assad has now conquered four out of the world’s seven highest peaks.
