The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced record prize money for the Women’s World Cup 2025.
According to the ICC, the prize pool has been increased by 297%, with a total of USD 13.88 million allocated for the tournament.
The winning team will receive USD 4.48 million, a 239% increase compared to the USD 1.32 million awarded in 2022. The runner-up will take home USD 2.24 million, while the losing semi-finalists will each receive USD 1.12 million. Additionally, every participating team will be awarded USD 250,000.
Each group-stage match victory will earn a team USD 34,314.
Furthermore, teams finishing 5th and 6th will receive USD 700,000 each, while those finishing 7th and 8th will get USD 280,000 each.
The ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 will be held in India and Sri Lanka from September 30.
