Karachi: President and Founder Marta Women Football Club, Rais Khan and Patron-in-Chief Mustafa Kamal Farooqui met Kuninori (Matz) Matsuda, Japanese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Consul General Toshikazu Isomura and expressed their views on football sports.
Speaking on the occasion, Rais Khan said that Marta Women Football Club was established in 2011 with the spirit to strengthen women empowerment and affection with school, college and university students, who organizes awareness program, lectures, seminars and football tournaments.
Japanese Ambassador said that there was ample talent of football in Pakistan. “If women players are trained through qualified coaches, then they can prove their abilities in this sector.”
Consul General of Japan said that the football is played all around the world.
Mustafa Kamal Farooqui said that Football Sports is the best way to get the women football players keep moving. Club’s president Rais Khan said that they would soon organize a mega women football event. On this occasion, MWFC’s souvenir, badge and flag were also presented to Japanese Ambassador as well as Consul General.
