Olympic boxer and Presidential Award winner Mehrullah Lassi hospitalized due to severe health condition

Karachi :Mehrullah Lassi, a renowned Pakistani boxer and winner of several prestigious titles including the Asian Games gold medal, Asian championship, and Commonwealth Games silver medal, has been moved from KPT Hospital Kemari to OMI Hospital due to his serious health condition. The news has sparked concerns among the boxing community and sports enthusiasts across the country.

Ali Akbar Shah Qadri, a senior figure in Pakistan Boxing, expressed his deep concern for Lassi’s welfare and prayed for his speedy recovery over the phone. Meanwhile, Mehmood Riaz, the Karachi Port Trust Manager Sports and retired Major, visited the hospital to check on the national hero and extended his support.

Lassi, who was also the recipient of the presidential award, is known for his outstanding achievements and contributions to the sport of boxing in Pakistan. His health condition has been a matter of concern for many, but the latest reports suggest that his condition is improving, and he is receiving the best possible medical care at OMI Hospital.
