PCB Announces Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan Tri-Series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a T20 tri-series featuring Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan.

For the first time, Pakistan will host a T20 tri-nation series, scheduled from November 17 to 29 in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

  • The opening match will be played between Pakistan and Afghanistan on November 17 in Rawalpindi.
  • On November 19, Sri Lanka will face Afghanistan, also in Rawalpindi.
  • This will mark Afghanistan’s first-ever T20 International in Pakistan.

The remaining five matches, including the final on November 29 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, will be staged in Lahore.

PCB Chief Operating Officer, Sameer Ahmad Syed, said the series will serve as an excellent preparation opportunity ahead of the T20 World Cup.
