The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has imposed a blanket ban on future participation in the World Championship of Legends (WCL), expressing disappointment over the tournament’s biased conduct.
During its 79th BoG meeting, chaired by Mohsin Naqvi, the PCB condemned WCL’s decision to award points to a forfeiting team and its politically biased statements regarding the cancellation of Pakistan vs India matches. The board criticized WCL for hypocrisy, saying its actions go against the principles of sporting neutrality and fair play.
The PCB reaffirmed its stance that cricket should remain free from political influence and serve as a platform for healthy competition and goodwill. The board stated it will no longer support events compromised by external pressures and biased agendas.
