PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi Chairs 80th Board of Governors Meeting

Lahore :The 80th meeting of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Board of Governors was held today at the National Cricket Academy boardroom under the chairmanship of Mohsin Naqvi.

The meeting reviewed measures to further improve the standard of Pakistan cricket and discussed various proposals aimed at enhancing the team’s performance in international cricket.

Briefings were presented on grassroots initiatives to promote women’s cricket, domestic cricket reforms, and pathways to bring forward young talent. Members were also updated on the upgradation of High-Performance Centres.

The Board approved the updated financial rules of the PCB and the reappointment of auditors for the current fiscal year. Procedural amendments were also endorsed for adopting the Global Anti-Corruption Code and for revising the scrutiny process of clubs.

The decisions of the 78th and 79th Board of Governors meetings were formally ratified.

The meeting was attended by Board of Governors members Anwar Ghani, Zaheer Abbas, Sajjad Ali Khokhar, Zafarullah, Tanveer Ahmed, Muhammad Ismail Qureshi, Tariq Sarwar, and others. Senior PCB officials including COO Sameer Ahmed, PSL CEO Salman Naseer, CFO, as well as directors of International Cricket, Domestic Cricket, Media & Communications, Human Resources, High-Performance Centres, Women’s Cricket, and the Legal Department also participated.
