In an exhilarating showdown at the 34th National Games, WAPDA emerged triumphant in the women’s hockey final, clinching the gold medal. The Army team showcased commendable skills, securing the silver medal, while Hanjab secured the bronze. The final was graced by the presence of Farah Azeem Shah, Spokesperson of the Balochistan Government, who served as the esteemed special guest.

The final commenced with an explosive start as WAPDA swiftly launched successful attacks on the Army’s goal post. With an astonishing display of dominance, WAPDA sealed their victory with an impressive three-nil scoreline, leaving no room for doubt. Their exceptional performance earned them the well-deserved gold medal. Meanwhile, Army displayed great resilience, earning the silver medal, and Punjab claimed the third position, securing the bronze medal.

As the final concluded, the special guest, Farah Azim Shah, graciously presented the prizes to the outstanding players. The tournament’s Director, Chand Parveen, Chief Coordinator, Syed Amin, and other esteemed officials were also present to witness the remarkable event.
