South Africa Crowned Champions of World Legends Championship

South Africa clinched the title of the World Championship of Legends with a dominant 9-wicket victory over Pakistan in the final held in Birmingham.

Chasing a target of 196 runs set by Pakistan Champions, the South Africa Champions achieved the total with ease in just 16.5 overs, losing only one wicket in the process.

AB de Villiers was the star of the match, smashing an unbeaten 120, while JP Duminy remained not out on 50. Hashim Amla contributed 18 runs before being dismissed.

Saeed Ajmal was the only Pakistani bowler to take a wicket.

Earlier, Pakistan posted a total of 195 for 5 after opting to bat first. Sharjeel Khan played a blistering knock of 76 runs, including 9 fours and 4 sixes, but his efforts went in vain.

Umar Amin added 36 runs, Asif Ali scored 28, Shoaib Malik made 20, and Mohammad Hafeez chipped in with 17. Kamran Akmal was dismissed cheaply for 2 runs.

For South Africa, Vernon Philander and Wayne Parnell picked up two wickets each, playing a key role in restricting Pakistan.
