Karachi : Great news! The 40th Men and 4th Women Elite National Boxing Championship has kicked off with a fantastic start at KPT Sports Complex. The event was inaugurated by KPT GM Admin Brigadier Tariq Bashir, who was joined by PBF President Mr Khalid Mehmood and General Secretary Col Nasir Tung, secretary PHF, Hyder Hussain was also accompanied.

Fifteen teams have come together to compete in the championship, showcasing their talent and skills in the ring. In the first match between KPT and Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa, the KPT Boxer Tabish gave a splendid performance and emerged victorious on point basis, thrilling the crowd with his technique and athleticism. The second match also had an incredible display of talent, where Balochistan’s Jahanzeb defeated Punjab Boxer Ehsan, showcasing the diversity and competitiveness of the teams.

While the competition was fierce, safety remained a top priority, and the organizers ensured all necessary precautions were taken. Unfortunately, during the third match of the day, Tayyab suffered injuries, but the Navy’s Zohaib emerged victorious in the spirit of sportsmanship.

Overall, the championship promises to be a thrilling event, providing a platform for young and talented boxers to showcase their skills and compete at the national level. We can’t wait to see more thrilling matches and unforgettable moments as the competition progresses!
