Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, hosted a prestigious ceremony in honor of PSL 11 teams, featuring both local and international players.
Mohsin Naqvi warmly welcomed domestic and foreign cricketers along with distinguished guests at the event. During the ceremony, the PSL 11 trophy was officially unveiled, and the tournament’s anthem was also launched.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi stated that, considering the regional situation and keeping national interests in mind, PSL 11 has been limited in scope. He emphasized that the Pakistan Super League has become a top international brand and that efforts will continue to take it to greater heights.
He also extended heartfelt apologies to cricket fans, saying that the broader national interest must always come first. I am confident that today’s sacrifice will lead to ease in the future, he added.
The ceremony was attended by federal ministers Muhammad Aurangzeb, Attaullah Tarar, Salik Hussain, and Ali Parvez Malik.
Also present were Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Provincial Ministers Shafay Hussain and Talha Burki, Attorney General Mansoor Awan, and former federal minister Gohar Ejaz.

Franchise owners, PSL team captains, head coaches, Pakistan national team players, and international cricketers participating in PSL 11 also attended the ceremony.
Among the foreign players present were Sikandar Raza, Ravi Bopara, Tabraiz Shamsi, Tim Paine, Josh, Mike Smith, Brendan Wilson, Sidla, and several other international players.
