Al-Hayat Group Acquires Ownership of ‘Hyderabad Bahadurz’ in Sindh Premier League

The Al-Hayat Group has become the owner of the ‘Hyderabad Bahadurz’ team in the Sindh Premier League (SPL). misbha -ul-Haq has been appointed as the head coach, and Shoaib Malik as the icon player. The SPL is seen as a great platform for the youth, according to Mayor Karachi, Murtaza Wahab. The league aims to maintain international standards, with each team including five players from Sindh, as stated by Chairman Arif Malik.

During a ceremony held at the Sindh Assembly Hall, the SPL management and Al-Hayat Group signed MoUs, officially transferring ownership of the ‘Hyderabad Bahadurz’ team. The event received significant attention in Sindh and throughout Pakistan. Jahanzib Alam, Chairman of Al-Hayat Group, and Arif Malik, President of SPL, signed the agreements. Chairman Arif Malik presented the team flag to Chairman Jahanzib Alam.

Various notable figures attended the ceremony, including Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Chairman SPL Arif Malik, Chairman Al-Hayat Group Jahanzib Alam, former cricketer and coach Misbha-ul-Haq, SPL mentor Abdul Razzaq, SPL CEO
Chaudhary Shahzad, Naveed Malik, former Test cricketer Imran Nazir, Hasan Raza, famous actress Sana Fakhar, model Nadia Khan, along with other sportsmen, actors and many leaders of business, political and social circles.

Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab emphasized that events like the SPL represents not only a city or province but also the entire country. He expressed his support for the league and encouraged efforts to promote cricket as well as other aspects of Sindh’s culture. Chairman SPL Arif Malik highlighted the league’s commitment to modern broadcasting and international standards. He also announced plans for a roadshow in London and Houston to provide international exposure for the SPL.

Chairman Al-Hayat Group Jahanzib Alam expressed enthusiasm for supporting the ‘Hyderabad Bahadurz’ team and announced Misbha-ul-Haq as the head coach and Shoaib Malik as the icon player. Renowned actor Javed Sheikh, the brand ambassador of Al-Hayat Group,praised the SPL for providing a platform for young players in Sindh and across Pakistan.

Former Pakistan cricket captain Misbha-ul-Haq expressed his happiness at being associated with the SPL and pledged to groom young players from Hyderabad. Abdul Razzaq, SPL mentor and former all-rounder, emphasized the importance of providing opportunities to talented players from Sindh and conducting trials to select players on merit.

The presence of renowned showbiz stars, famous models, cricketers, and other sports personalities added to the charm of the SPL ceremony.”
