Asian Cycling Championship: Pakistani Cyclist Wins Gold in Masters Open Category

Pakistan’s Ali Ilyas delivered an outstanding performance at the Asian Cycling Championship, clinching the gold medal in the Masters Open category.

Competing in the Asian Road Cycling Championship in Thailand, Ali Ilyas participated in the Masters Open category for the 35-39 age group and successfully defended his title.

The Pakistani cyclist completed the 21.4 km race in 26 minutes and 30.556 seconds, maintaining an impressive average speed of 48.44 km/h.

With this gold medal victory, Ali Ilyas retained his championship title. The cyclist from Thailand, who secured second place, finished 1 minute and 14 seconds behind Ali Ilyas.

On Saturday, Pakistan’s female cyclists Zainab Rizwan and Rabia Gharib will compete in the Women’s Masters Open category, while Yousaf will take part in the Under-23 events.
