The All England Tennis Club stated that financial assistance will be given to the players affected by the war in Ukraine. Accommodation will be provided to all players participating in grass tournaments held in England, including Wimbledon. According to foreign media reports, players will receive this facility during the qualifying rounds and the main draw.
Ukrainian players will also be allowed to practice on the tennis courts of the All England Club, and financial assistance will be provided to them. An estimated amount of more than £500,000 will be donated to support them.
Fifteen Ukrainian players will participate in Wimbledon, while the All England Club has allowed players from Russia and Belarus to play in Wimbledon. However, players from Russia and Belarus have been instructed to remain neutral.
