Great news! FIFA Foundation’s Community Programme is set to benefit 114 not-for-profit organizations in 54 countries with funding for sustainable football initiatives. This year’s selection of organizations was highly competitive, with nearly 1,000 applications from over 110 countries, emphasizing the global enthusiasm for this initiative.
The programme supports local projects that promote good health, quality education, gender equality, and economic growth, with a strong commitment to protecting children. Projects funded between 2020 and 2022 have already impacted more than 250,000 people globally. The selected organizations and projects have demonstrated a commitment to promoting gender balance and supporting vulnerable groups, making a positive impact on communities worldwide. By using football as a tool for positive social change, the FIFA Foundation continues to showcase its commitment to promoting sport for development and peace.
