FIFA World Cup Draw: 48 Teams Divided into 12 Groups

The FIFA World Cup draw has been held, with 48 teams placed into 12 groups for the tournament, which will take place next year in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Group A includes hosts Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, and a team to qualify from Play-Off D.

Group B features hosts Canada, Qatar, Switzerland, and the winner of UEFA Play-Off A. The fourth team in Group B will be either Wales or Northern Ireland.

Group C consists of Brazil, Morocco, Scotland and Haiti, while Group D includes hosts United States, Australia, Paraguay and the UEFA Play-Off C qualifier.

Group E has Germany, Ecuador, Ivory Coast and CuraƧao, while Group F includes the Netherlands, Japan, Tunisia and the UEFA Play-Off B qualifier.

Group G is made up of Belgium, Iran, Egypt and New Zealand. Group H features Spain, Saudi Arabia, Uruguay and Cape Verde.

Group I includes France, Senegal, Norway and the FIFA Play-Off 2 qualifier, while Group J consists of defending champions Argentina, Austria, Algeria and Jordan.

Group K features Portugal, Uzbekistan, Colombia and the FIFA Qualifier 1 team, while Group L includes England, Croatia, Panama and Ghana.

The FIFA World Cup draw ceremony was held in the United States and was also attended by US President Donald Trump.
