Karachi Division has won the Sindh Inter-Division Girls’ Ring Ball Championship 2023, while the girls’ team of Hyderabad Division has secured third position. Meanwhile, the girls’ team of Hyderabad Division has secured the silver medal.
The championship was held in Karachi under the joint auspices of Sports and Youth Affairs Department Government of Sindh, and Pakistan Ring Ball Federation, in collaboration with National Ring Ball Academy WMC Karachi. All six divisions of Sindh province and girls’ teams of National Ring Ball Academy WMC Karachi participated in the championship.
All the responsibilities of the referee were undertaken by the officials of Pakistan Ring Ball Federation, including Chief Referee Zahoor Abbas (Kotah), Referee Rana Waqar Ahmed (Multan), Referee Muhammad Ihsan (Mirpur Khas), and Harry Charles (Karachi).
In the opening ceremony of the championship, special guests including Ashfaq Ahmed (Chairman Sindh Ring Ball Association), Raja Omar Khattab (SSP Sindh Police), Ahmed Ali Rajput (Secretary General Sindh Olympic Association), Zabir Ahmed Channa (CEO Mass Transit Sindh), and Rashid Gill (Secretary General Pakistan Ring Ball Federation) were present. The chief guest of the closing ceremony of the Sindh Girls’ Ring Ball Championship was Hafiz Abdul Hadi Bloch, who could not attend due to his busy schedule.
Director Sports Sindh Shahzad Bhatti and Assistant Director Sports Sindh Abdul Shakoor Meman attended the event in his place.
