Karachi: Organized by Karachi Arm Wrestling Association, with the support of Sports and Culture Department of Municipal Corporation Karachi, one day Karachi Games Arm Wrestling Boys was held at KMC Sports Complex, Kashmir Road.
In which there were competitions of 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 and 75 plus kilograms in boys under 14 and youth under 19 of 7 districts of Karachi. Under the supervision of Director Mr. Iqbal Faraz and Deputy Director Sarwar Alam.
Administrator Karachi, Dr. Saifur Rahman inaugurated the championship by cutting the ribbon. He was accompanied by Ayaz Manchi, Mohammad Naseem, Iqbal Parvez, Sarwar Alam, Saeed Alam, Antar Haider, Asif Zaheer, Tariq Hafeez, Uzma Sheikh, Mehwish Khan and Kashif. Ahmed Farooqui was also present.
In boys' 10-weight Katgiri, Abdul Basit defeated Ayan Asghar in mouse 30 kg, Adil Khan defeated Syed Najam in mouse 35 kg. Muhammad Hammad defeated Huzaifa Zulfiqar in MICE 45kg, Huzaifa Khan defeated Muhammad Osama in MICE 55kg, Abdul Ahad defeated MICE 55kg, Abdul Rafee defeated Muhammad Ashar in MICE 60kg,
Hasan in MICE 65kg. Agha defeated Kevin, Adil Ahmed defeated Mohammad Mohsin in Mice 70kg and Uzair Ali defeated Awais Shah in Mice 75kg to get the middle. At the end of the championship, Secretary of Sindh Olympic Association Ahmed Ali Raujput, Iqbal Peroz and Sarwar Alam distributed prizes to the successful athletes.
