Pakistan sealed the three-match ODI series 2-1 after defeating South Africa by seven wickets in the third and final match at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.

Winning the toss, South Africa opted to bat first, but their decision backfired as the entire team was bowled out for just 143 runs in the 37th over.
For South Africa, Quinton de Kock top-scored with 53 runs, while Johan du Preez contributed 39. Peter and Matthew Breetzke added 16 runs each.
Pakistan’s bowlers delivered an impressive performance Abrar Ahmed took four wickets, while Shaheen Afridi, Salman Ali Agha, and Mohammad Nawaz claimed two wickets apiece.
In reply, Pakistan comfortably chased down the 144-run target in the 26th over for the loss of just three wickets.
Saim Ayub led the chase with a brilliant 77, supported by Babar Azam’s 27. Mohammad Rizwan (32*) and Salman Ali Agha (5*) remained unbeaten to guide Pakistan to victory.
Earlier in the series, Pakistan won the first ODI by two wickets, while South Africa bounced back in the second match with an eight-wicket win over the Green Shirts.
