failing to secure a convincing start in the tournament. The match was played in Kathmandu at the Tribhuvan Cricket Stadium, and due to rain interruptions, it was limited to 5 overs per side.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first. Sri Lanka managed to score 63 runs for the loss of one wicket. Smith Karunaratne contributed 25 runs, while Sarath Gallethtiya scored 24 runs, and Methil Khan took one wicket.

In pursuit of the target, the Pakistani team struggled and could only manage 44 runs for the loss of one wicket in their allotted 5 overs. Ahmed Yar scored 21 runs, and Chandka Pashpa Kumar took a wicket.

As for the match between India and Bangladesh, it was affected by rain and both teams were awarded one point each. The national team is scheduled to play its next match against Bangladesh on Today.
