Karachi :Two-day volleyball trials were held under the Prime Minister Youth Development Program with the support of Higher Education Commission, organized by NED University. On the occasion of the trials, Registrar NED University, Syed Ghazanfar Hussain was the chief guest, other guests included Director General HEC Javed Ali Memon, Director Works and Services NED Syed Wasiuddin, Controller Student Affairs Dr. Ali Hasan Mehmood, Director of Sports Sir Syed University Mubasher Mukhtar, Dr. Tariq Ali Gujar, General Secretary of Pakistan Volleyball Federation, Engineer Shah Naeem Zafar, Secretary of Volleyball Sindh, Shahid Masood, General Secretary of SOA, Ahmed Ali.

Sports personalities and a large number of male and female volleyball players from various educational institutions were present. The ceremony was organized at Sports Complex (Boys Gymnasium) NED University. The aim was to promote volleyball game. In this regard, players under the age of 15 to 25 years was included. On the occasion Syed Ghazanfar Hussain said that the Prime Minister Youth Development Program is a good initiative for the youth, which will give an opportunity to new players so the game of volleyball will get a boost.
We hope that this series will continue in the future so that more and more young players can get opportunities. On the event Syed Ghazanfar Hussain and Javed Ali Memon presented shields and gifts in different personalities. Finally, Syed Ghazanfar Hussain and Javed Ali Memon started the trials by shooting the volleyball. It is to be noted that the two-day trials Male and female athletes from different educational institutions participated were the age of 15 to 25 years.
