Sri Lanka Tour: National Team’s Training Camp in Progress Karachi

The training camp for the Pakistan cricket team for the Sri Lanka tour is underway at the Regional Academy Ground, National Stadium Karachi.

On the second day, Wednesday, a training session was held, with players engaged in batting, bowling, and fielding practice under the supervision of coaches. Babar Azam joined the national camp, but the arrival of fast bowler Hasan Ali has been delayed by one more day.

According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan cricket team, due to rain in Lahore, the flight schedule has been affected, and Hasan Ali couldn’t reach Karachi. It is expected that Hasan Ali will join the camp on Thursday, while the training camp will continue until Friday.

At the conclusion of the camp, the players of the national team intend to travel to Islamabad on Friday night to participate in their teammate Haris Rauf’s wedding. The next day, the national team will depart from Karachi via Dubai to Colombo for a Test series consisting of two matches.
