Twelve institutions from across the city came together to compete in the 1st Catchball U 19 Girls Tournament 2023, and The City School DK Campus emerged as the champions!
In an intense final match against The City School Gulshan A, The City School DK Campus secured a decisive victory, winning 2-0 sets. Meanwhile, in the third position match, The City School Darakshan Campus managed to beat Shahwalyat Campus-11 Gold, winning 2-1 sets.
The tournament was graced by the presence of several esteemed guests, including President of Sindh Catchball Association, Mr. Rizwan Quershi, who was the Chief Guest and handed out trophies, certificates, and shields to the winners.
Also in attendance were President of Pakistan Catchball Federation, Mr. Maqbool Arain, Secretary of Sindh Catchball Association, Mr. Kashif Qasim, President of Karachi Students Olympic Association, Mr. Azmat Pasha, Secretary of Sindh Women Catchball Association, Ms. Fatima Zehra, and several catchball officials, including Narmeen Naz, Zain Abidin, Ahmed Khan, Bilal Hussain, Zahid Ghaffar, Arshad Khan, Humma, and sports coaches.
