According the ICC World Cup’s 9th match was played at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in the Indian capital, New Delhi, where India defeated Afghanistan by 8 wickets. This marks India’s second success in the tournament.
When India began their innings, Afghanistan had set a target of 273 runs, which India achieved with only 2 wickets down in 35 overs. The Indian cricket team’s captain, Rohit Sharma, played a significant role in achieving victory by scoring 131 runs on 84 balls. He hit 5 fours and 16 sixes.
