Babar Azam and Shadab Khan Nominated for ICC Player of the Month Award for August

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the nominations for the Player of the Month award for August.

Two Pakistani cricketers, Captain Babar Azam and All-rounder Shadab Khan, have been nominated for the Player of the Month award.

Both players have been nominated for their outstanding performances during the series against Afghanistan and the Asia Cup match against Nepal. Babar Azam scored 151 runs off 131 balls against Nepal in the Asia Cup.

In the same match, Shadab Khan took 4 wickets for 27 runs in 6.4 overs, contributing significantly to Pakistan’s victory. If they win the award, it will be Babar’s third Player of the Month award.

In addition to this, West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran has also been nominated for the Men’s Player of the Month. The selection for the Player of the Month will be based on fan votes and the voting academy’s opinions.
