Captain Babar Azam Signs Deal with Bangladesh Premier League

Islamabad: National cricket team captain Babar Azam is ready to play in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) once again, signing a contract with the Rangpur Riders.

Pakistan’s cricket team captain, Babar Azam, is set to play in the BPL once again after 2017, as the star cricketer has inked a deal with the Rangpur Riders.

The last time Babar Azam played BPL matches was in 2017 when he represented the Sylhet Sixers. In addition to Babar Azam, Pakistan’s Ehsanullah will also be a part of the Rangpur Riders. The signing of Babar Azam’s contract was revealed by the team’s social media manager on their personal account.

On the other hand, Babar’s signing with the Rangpur Riders has also been hinted at in social media posts related to the team.

It’s worth remembering that the franchise had previously reached agreements with Hassananga, Nicholas Pooran, and Brendan King before the draft.
