Recently, Babar Azam, along with his Pakistan teammate Muhammad Rizwan, met with the owner of the Colombo Strikers, Sagar Khanna, to discuss their plans for the tournament. The player auction for the Lanka Premier League will take place on June 14, and the Colombo Strikers are looking to secure talented players for their team. In addition to Babar Azam, Matheesha Pathirana, Naseem Shah, and Chamika Karunarathne are already part of the Colombo Strikers squad.
