BCCI Sends World Cup Schedule Finalized to ICC

Dubai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has sent the finalized schedule of the World Cup to the International Cricket Council (ICC), raising the possibility of the final schedule being announced in the coming week.

ICC has shared the schedule of the BCCI for feedback, which includes matches against the participating countries in the World Cup. Every team in the World Cup will play nine league matches.

According to media reports, the World Cup will commence on 5th October next year at the Narendra Modi Stadium, while the final will be held on 19th November at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The defending champions, England and New Zealand, will play the first match of the World Cup.
