Auckland: New Zealand’s all-rounder Michael Bracewell’s injury has resulted in their exclusion from the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. However, there are suspicions regarding Kane Williamson’s participation in the upcoming World Cup.
Bracewell’s injury has forced him to be out of cricket for 6 to 8 months. He sustained the injury while batting for Worcestershire in a T20 Blast match. Michael Bracewell is scheduled for surgery in England on Thursday, after which a lengthy rehabilitation process will begin for the all-rounder.
Due to the extended rehabilitation period, Bracewell has been ruled out of the World Cup, which is set to take place in October-November.
The coach of the New Zealand cricket team expressed his disappointment at Bracewell’s injury, stating that it is a significant setback for the team.
