Cricket fans have shown remarkable enthusiasm during the online ticket sales for the Champions Trophy, with tickets for three matches already sold out. In the first phase, 30% of the tickets were made available online.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), tickets for matches between Pakistan and New Zealand, Australia and England, and Pakistan and Bangladesh have been completely sold out.
It is worth noting that the Pakistan vs. New Zealand match is scheduled for February 19 in Karachi, while the Australia vs. England match will take place on February 22 in Lahore. The Pakistan vs. Bangladesh match is set for February 27 in Rawalpindi.
Physical tickets will be available in the second phase starting February 3.
A PCB expressed satisfaction with the public response to ticket sales, describing it as highly encouraging. “The swift sale of tickets in just a few hours reflects the fans’ keen interest. It’s great to see Pakistani fans standing with their team,” the spokesperson said. The PCB aims to facilitate as many spectators as possible to enjoy the matches live.
