England defeated Pakistan 4–1 in the final of the Hockey World Cup Qualifier Round held in Ismailia, Egypt.
In the first quarter, both teams failed to score any goal. England took the lead in the second quarter with the opening goal of the match. In the third quarter, England’s Samuel Hooper strengthened his team’s position by scoring two consecutive goals.
Pakistan’s Rana Waleed managed to reduce the deficit by scoring a goal for his side. However, England sealed the victory by scoring their fourth goal in the final quarter and lifted the title.
