Representatives from all 12 West Asian Member Associations (MA) recently convened in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the FIFA Forward 3.0 workshop. The three-day event focused on FIFA’s major development program and included an array of other football-related topics, such as talent development, women’s football, and FIFA digital skills.
The workshop marks a crucial step for football growth in the region, with FIFA’s new iteration of the programme promising tailor-made investments and 30% more funding for all its associations. With the support of FIFA’s regional offices, West Asian MAs can expect to receive ongoing assistance as they move forward with their football development projects.
