Dubai : The schedule for the inaugural edition of the Global Chess League has been announced, set to take place in Dubai from June 21, 2023, to July 2, 2023, in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council. The league has unveiled its scoring system.
The league is introducing the Fischer Random format in chess, along with a brand new mixed team format that includes men, women, and under-21 players, showcasing their best abilities. The final match will be held on July 2 and will consist of two matches.
