Lahore, 28 February 2025:
The HBL PSL X is set to kick off on Friday, 11 April, with defending champions Islamabad United facing two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
This six-team tournament will feature 34 thrilling matches from 11 April to 18 May. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 games, including the two Eliminators and the Grand Final.
Additionally, the upcoming edition will include a special exhibition match on 8 April in Peshawar, with participating teams to be announced later.
For HBL PSL X, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including Qualifier 1 on 13 May. Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches. The tournament will also feature three double-headers, with two matches scheduled on Saturdays and one on Labour Day (1 May).
Key Team Fixtures:
- Karachi Kings, the PSL 5 champions, will kick off their campaign on 12 April at home against last season’s runners-up, Multan Sultans.
- Multan Sultans, the PSL 6 winners, will host their first match of HBL PSL X against Lahore Qalandars on 22 April.
- Lahore Qalandars, champions of PSL 7 and 8, will play their first home game on 24 April against Peshawar Zalmi at the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium.
- Peshawar Zalmi, the 2017 champions, will play five matches in Rawalpindi.
- Quetta Gladiators, winners of PSL 4, will feature in five matches at Gaddafi Stadium.
