Karachi athletes have emerged as the champions at the recently concluded two-day Sindh Karate Championship organized by Nagaman Martial Arts Organization. The event, which took place at the Landhi Sports Complex dojo, saw participants from various cities in Sindh, including Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad, Nawab Shah, Sangarh, and Karachi, showcasing their skills in both kamaite (fight) and kata (formal practice) events across various categories.

The competition was intense, and the athletes from Karachi displayed exceptional performance to secure the first position, while Sanghar and Larkana came in second and third place, respectively. The clubs also battled it out fiercely, with Taurus MMA taking the first position, Shotokan Karate Sangarh coming in second place, and Nagamine Martial Arts taking third place.

The Sindh Karate Championship was held under the full patronage of the Pakistan Karate Federation, and the winners of the event have qualified for the upcoming National Karate Championship 2023. The successful conclusion of the championship reflects the growing interest and participation in martial arts in the region, and the credit goes to the organizers for putting together a well-executed event.
