July 31 – The three-day match between Pakistan Shaheens and the Professional County Club Select XI ended in a draw.

On the final day at the First Central County Ground in Hove, play was called off early due to rain. At that point, Pakistan Shaheens had reached 50 for 4 in 11.5 overs in their second innings. Aazan Awais was unbeaten on 5, while Mubasir Khan remained not out on 4.

Earlier in the innings, Sameel Hussain scored 6, Mohammad Suleman 13, Umair bin Yousuf 3, and Haider Ali 17 before being dismissed.
Mitchell Stanley was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 3 wickets for 30 runs.

The hosts resumed their first innings from 288 for 4 and declared at 351 for 7, gaining a 108-run lead over Pakistan Shaheens.

Captain Luke Birkenshtein led from the front with a magnificent innings of 197 runs, which included 32 boundaries and 2 sixes. He shared a 194-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Ben Mees, who scored 67 runs with the help of 8 fours and a six.

For Pakistan Shaheens, Mir Hamza took 3 wickets for 39 runs, while Mushtaq Ahmed and Mehran Mumtaz claimed two wickets each.

Pakistan Shaheens will play their second three-day match of the tour against South Asian Cricket Academy and Young MCC Cricketers from August 3 in Canterbury.
