Pakistan qualifies for Junior Hockey World Cup by defeating Japan 3-2 in the semi-final of the Junior Asia Cup.

In the ongoing Junior Asia Cup held in Salalah, Oman, Pakistan secured a spot in the semi-finals by defeating Japan with a score of 3-2 in their last match of the pool stage. Pakistan has also qualified for the Junior World Cup. The first goal for Pakistan came in the 23rd minute through a penalty corner converted by Arbaz Ahmed, followed by two field goals scored by Abdul Wahab in the 30th and 39th minutes. Ihtesham Islam was awarded the Player of the Match. Pakistan will play the semi-final match against Malaysia on May 31.
