Well it’s a second consecutive final for Lahore, that too in Lahore, winning stroke by skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi.
What a fantastic performance by them. They’ve made it to the finals yet again. Jubilation all around in Lahore Qalandars camp.
Disappointment for Babar Azam and his men, they have done well but it wasn’t good enough in the end. What a fantastic performance, we’ve seen some contributions today from Lahore.
Sam Billings is definitely one of them who has contributed in the winning cause.
Just a quick reminder how things went, Peshawar Zalmi opted to bat and scored 171 for 5 in their 20 overs.
Mohammad Haris was the top scorer for them, it was a fantastic knock by him.
But in response, the player development programme find and Player of the match Tahir Baig became the top scorer with polished 54.
In the end Lahore won by 4 wickets with 7 balls to spare.
Now Super Saturday (today) is the HBL Pakistan Super League final
