What a stunning win for Peshawar Zalmi, the way they recovered in this match, it was quite epic. They needed this win, their bowlers were falling short in the previous games. Remember they started this game, they lost a couple of wickets just in power play in that first over.
Mohammad Aamir was quite brilliant, but the way they came back, from there onwards, if there was no stopping them. And when we talk about their batting, I think there was one stand out player, a star in the making, Haseebullah Khan. He has started off so well, has truly announced his arrival to everybody. We wish him all the best, he was in command of his shots selection over extra cover and on the leg side.
It was just nice to see that a batsman is coming through in the HBL۔PSL. Babar Azam a very proud captain indeed. Peshawar Zalmi have got points in the bag as they’ve started the Rawalpindi leg on a winning note. Disappointment for Karachi fans, Karachi Kings yet again on the losing end of things.
Their bowlers didn’t bowl well at the top. Not good enough from them, their batting looks a batsman short, may be too short.
