The West Indies women’s cricket team has arrived in Karachi to play a series against Pakistan.

The visiting team will rest today and begin practice from tomorrow.

The West Indies women’s cricket team, for the One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 series against Pakistan women’s team, has arrived in Karachi.

The 15-member West Indies women’s cricket team, led by Hayley Matthews, reached Jinnah Terminal in Karachi, where they were welcomed with a floral bouquet.

Eight officials are also included in the West Indies women’s team, who were escorted from the airport to the hotel under tight security.

The visiting team will rest today and start practice from tomorrow.

The Pakistan women’s team also arrived in Karachi last night; their practice scheduled for this afternoon could not take place due to rain.

It is clear that three One Day Internationals and five Twenty20 matches will be played between Pakistan and West Indies women’s teams.

The first One Day International will be played on April 18.

This women’s series is part of the ICC Women’s Championship.
