Lahore: A video of the British High Commissioner playing cricket with Pakistani women cricketers has gone viral. The enthusiastic British High Commissioner, Jane Merritt, donned cricket gear and played cricket with female players at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. Yesterday, the British High Commissioner, Jane Merritt, visited Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and met with officials and players of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
During her visit to Gaddafi Stadium, British High Commissioner Jane Merritt also met with Pakistan’s national women cricketers and joined women cricketers in a game of cricket, wearing cricket whites.
Former Pakistani international cricket player Marina Iqbal provided batting tips to the British High Commissioner. On the other hand, during the tour, the British High Commissioner also met with Chairman PCB Management Committee Zaka Ashraf, and the meeting involved discussions about cricket affairs of both countries.
