the Honorable Additional and Civil Judge (6) has made a landmark decision, suspending the order dated 23.5.20 that imposed a ban on both the Pakistan Athletics Federation of the Pakistan Olympic Association and the management committee of the 34th National Games. This decision comes as a relief to sports enthusiasts and athletes across the nation, allowing them to participate in the upcoming competitions. President Balochistan Athletics Association, Qaiser Mahmood Khan, expressed his gratitude for the judge’s ruling, which effectively nullifies the order of the Judicial Magistrate (8) issued on 23.5.19. In addition, the judge also suspended the letters issued by Khalid Mahmood, General Secretary of Pakistan Olympic Association, on 21.3.26 and 23.4.20, recognizing that these actions were motivated by personal enmity and malice. As a result, the athletics competitions in the highly anticipated 34th National Games will now be jointly organized by the Balochistan Athletics Association and the Pakistan Athletics Federation.
The games are scheduled to take place in Quetta from May 24 to May 29, promising an exhilarating display of sporting talent and camaraderie.
