The wait for cricket enthusiasts is finally over as Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9 carnival kicks off today.
The first match of PSL season 9 will be played between defending champions Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Prior to the match, a colorful opening ceremony will mark the beginning of the tournament, featuring performances by renowned artists showcasing their talents, along with fireworks and laser shows for the fans’ entertainment.
The opening ceremony of Pakistan Super League will commence at 6:30 PM at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Cricket fans can enter the venue from 3:30 PM onwards. Artists such as Ali Zafar, Aima Baig, Arif Lohar, and Noori will perform at the opening ceremony.
On the other hand, players from various countries around the world have joined their respective teams, with teams expressing confidence in their preparedness.
It’s worth noting that PSL 9 will consist of 34 matches divided into two stages among six teams, with the final event scheduled to be held in Karachi on March 18th.
