FIFA U-20 World Cup Argentina 2023™: Match Schedule and Host Cities Revealed as Argentina to Face Uzbekistan in Opening Game

On Friday, 21 April, the draw for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Argentina 2023™ was held at the Home of FIFA in Zurich, Switzerland, with the match schedule and Host Cities announced for the tournament.

The event will feature the world’s most promising young footballers, as Argentina, the host nation, faces Uzbekistan in the opening match on 20 May.

FIFA Legends Juan Pablo Sorin and David Trezeguet were part of the ceremony, and the tournament will take place across four cities: La Plata, Mendoza, San Juan, and Santiago del Estero. The semi-finals, play-off for third place, and final will be held at La Plata Stadium, while the quarter-finals will take place in San Juan and Santiago del Estero, both of which will also host the opening games.
