Pakistan Cricket Facilities and Programs are Excellent, says ICC Chairman”

Lahore :The Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC), Greg Barclay, and Chief Executive Geoff Allardice concluded their two-day visit to Lahore.

It is worth noting that this was Greg Barclay’s first visit to Pakistan. During this visit, Greg Barclay and Geoff Allardice had a meeting with the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Najam Sethi, and other officials of the board at the PCB Headquarters Gaddafi Stadium, where they discussed mutual matters related to the development of cricket and its further promotion.

Greg Barclay and Geoff Allardice also visited the National Cricket Academy, Lahore Fort, Lahore Museum, Minar-e-Pakistan, and the Safe City Project during their two-day tour.

Greg Barclay expressed his happiness at visiting Pakistan. He believes that a tour of all member countries of the ICC should be conducted to see how cricket and its administrative matters are being handled under their jurisdiction because each country is different from the other in terms of its size, economy, and cricket rankings.

Greg Barclay praised the cricket facilities in Pakistan, saying that these facilities and cricket-related programs are excellent. Now that international cricket has returned to Pakistan, the PCB is successfully carrying out bilateral cricket arrangements.

He expressed hope that they will witness the progress of men’s and women’s cricket in Pakistan and that it will have positive effects from a commercial perspective as well.

Greg Barclay stated that he was very pleased with the briefing he received regarding the planning for the development and administrative level of men’s and women’s cricket. He believes that Pakistan’s women’s cricket has a bright future in terms of participation in international matches and achievements based on their capabilities.

Greg Barclay said that he was extremely impressed with what he has seen during his visit to Pakistan. As ICC, they want to expand this sport worldwide, and the presence of the Pakistan Cricket Board is a cause for joy in this regard.

Najam Sethi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, and ICC Director, expressed their gratitude to Greg Barclay and Geoff Allardice for their visit. This tour provided an opportunity for the exchange of ideas and thoughts between ICC and the Pakistan Cricket Board.

They stated that the Pakistan Cricket Board is committed to continuing the dialogue with the ICC and working together on global initiatives and programs because it is not only in the best interest of all member countries but will also help achieve the common goal of promoting cricket and attracting .
