Pakistan Deaf Cricket Team won T20 World Cup by defeating Sri Lanka by 88 runs

Pakistan Deaf Cricket Team defeated the Sri Lankan Deaf Cricket Team to clinch the T20 World Cup. In the final match of the ICC T20 Deaf Cricket World Cup 2024 held in Sharjah, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 88 runs.

Playing in Sharjah, Pakistan set a target of 151 runs for Sri Lanka, scoring 151 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In pursuit of the target, the Sri Lankan team was bowled out for 63 runs.

It is worth noting that the ICC T20 World Cup took place from 6th to 12th March in Sharjah, featuring six teams.

On the other hand, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi congratulated the Pakistani deaf cricket team players on winning the T20 World Cup 2024.

Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi said that the players of the Pakistani deaf cricket team showed excellent performance in the final. Basit Abbasi excelled in batting, while Jabbar Ali and Manzoor Khan showed exceptional performance in bowling.

He said that the players of the deaf cricket team showed teamwork and hard work in defeating Sri Lanka in the final. I believe that passion, teamwork, and determination are the keys to success in cricket.
