In a thrilling encounter at Johor Bahru, Malaysia, Pakistan’s hockey team secured a victory against the host team, Malaysia, with a score of 3-2 during their third match in the 11th Sultan Johor Hockey Cup. Pakistan displayed a remarkable performance throughout the game.
The first field goal for Pakistan was scored by Abu Zar in the 13th minute, while the second goal came through a penalty corner taken by Arbaz Ahmed in the 21st minute. The third goal was netted by Muhammad Sufian Khan through another penalty corner in the 24th minute. On the Malaysian side, their first goal was scored by Irfan in the 47th minute, and the second by Akmal Daniel in the 51st minute.
This victory allowed Pakistan to secure a place in the semi-finals. Pakistan will face Germany in their semi-final match scheduled for November 3.

Brigadier (Retired) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar, the President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, and Olympian Rana Mujahid Ali, the Secretary-General, congratulated the national team and the nation on this achievement.
The officials accompanying the national team include Team Manager Lieutenant Colonel (R) Asif Naz Khokhar, Consultant Roelant Oltmans, Coach Olympian Shakeel Abbasi, Asif Ahmed Khan International, and Muhammad Ali International, along with Video Analyst Nadim Khan Lodhi.
The participating teams in the tournament are divided into two pools. In Pool A, Australia, Germany, Great Britain, and South Africa are competing, while in Pool B, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Pakistan are taking part.
