In Ipoh city of Malaysia, on the second day of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, Pakistan suffered a one-sided defeat against Korea by 4 goals. The Korean team couldn’t score against Pakistan. Abdul Hanan Shahid, Arshad Liaqat, Ghazanfar Ali, and Sufian Khan scored one goal each for Pakistan.
Six teams are participating in the event, including the host team Malaysia, as well as Pakistan, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and Canada.
After a day’s rest, the Pakistan hockey team will play against Japan on May 7th at 3:15 PM according to Pakistani time.
It should be noted that in their first match, Pakistan defeated the host Malaysia by 5 goals to 4 in a thrilling match.
