PCB Announces Central Contracts 2025-26 for Women Cricketers

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the central contracts for women cricketers for the 2025-26 season.

ICC T20I No.1 ranked bowler, Sadia Iqbal, has been included in Category A.

An Emerging Category has been introduced for up-and-coming talent, with young cricketers Iman Fatima and Shawaal Zulfiqar placed in this new category.

A 50% increase in player remuneration has been implemented across all categories.

A total of 20 women cricketers have been awarded contracts under five different categories.

  • Sadia Iqbal
  • Sidra Ameen

Category B:

  • Aliya Riaz
  • Diana Baig
  • Nashra Sandhu

Category C:

  • Rameen Shamim

Category D:

  • Gull Feroza
  • Najia Alvi
  • Natalia Parvaiz
  • Omaima Sohail
  • Sadaf Shamas
  • Sidra Nawaz
  • Aroob Shah
  • Tuba Hassan
  • Umme Hani
  • Waheeda Akhtar

This move is seen as a significant step toward uplifting women’s cricket in Pakistan, providing better financial stability and encouraging emerging talent to grow.
